A massive fire broke out in parts of three hotels in Pahalgam’s Larri Pora area of Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, triggering a swift response from fire and emergency services. Thick plumes of smoke were seen billowing from the affected structures as flames spread rapidly across sections of the properties.

Fire tenders were rushed to the spot and efforts are currently underway to bring the blaze under control. No casualties have been reported so far.

“Two-three buildings have suffered extensive damages. Gas cylinder blast made the matters worse. It also prevented us from carrying out relief work,” Munzoor Ahmad, a Fire Department official, told news agency PTI.
