A Dehradun man working at a restaurant in Mauritius has been missing for six days, with his family raising questions over four men he allegedly left with and seeking government intervention.

A man from Uttarakhand’s Dehradun has been missing in Mauritius for six days, leaving his family desperately seeking answers and prompting his relatives to appeal to the Centre and state government to intervene and coordinate with the Mauritius authorities to speed up the search.
Dharmendra Bisht, a resident of Patel Nagar in Dehradun, was working as a manager at a Thai restaurant in Mauritius, according to his family. His relatives say they have been unable to contact him since the evening of September 27 and have not received any concrete information about his whereabouts.
The family has raised questions over four young men who they claim came into contact with Dharmendra before he went missing. However, the allegations have not been independently verified and the circumstances surrounding his disappearance remain under investigation.
FAMILY SAYS DHARMENDRA DISAPPEARED AFTER CRICKET
According to the family, Dharmendra had gone to play cricket on the morning of September 27.
The family claims that four young men came into contact with him during this time and allegedly took him along with them. Relatives say Dharmendra has not been traced since.
The family has named the four men as Ayush Bisht, Gaurav Mehta, Bhupendra Rana and Rahul Rana.
Relatives claim Dharmendra’s mobile phone and clothes were later found with Ayush Bisht.
The family was informed about Dharmendra’s disappearance on September 28. They also say they were told that he had gone somewhere on leave.
However, relatives claim Dharmendra had not told them about taking leave and that they had no information about any such plan.
FAMILY RAISES QUESTIONS OVER FOUR MEN
Dharmendra’s relatives have raised questions over the role of the four men he allegedly went with before disappearing.
The family says it is particularly concerned because there has been no contact from Dharmendra and they have not received clear information about what happened after he left with the men.
The allegations against the four men have not been independently confirmed.
The family wants the circumstances surrounding Dharmendra’s disappearance and the role, if any, of the four men to be investigated.
COMPANY ACCUSED OF NOT SHARING INFORMATION
Dharmendra was reportedly working at Thai Food Gang restaurant, operated by Sitar Pure Veg Company Limited in Mauritius.
His family has alleged that the company management has not provided them with sufficient information since his disappearance.
Relatives also say they have not received clear information about the action being taken by the Mauritius police. The family claims it does not even know whether a formal complaint has been registered in the case.
The family has further alleged that the restaurant management appears to be supporting the four men named by them.
