Three Class 6 Students From Top Boarding School In Shimla Go Missing Near Mall Road, Kidnapping Suspected

The three boys left the school around noon on Saturday but failed to return by the designated time, prompting school authorities to alert the police.

Three class 6 students of a prestigious boys’ boarding school in Shimla went missing over the weekend as they stepped out for their weekly outing day. According to the police, the boys left the school at 12.09 PM on Saturday to visit the Mall Road. After they did not return by 5 PM, school authorities immediately informed the police, and the principal registered a complaint.
Witnesses said the boys were spotted at different locations on Mall Road, Shimla, on Saturday. Police suspect a case of kidnapping. The school said boarding students are allowed days out on weekends.

Shimla police register case

A case has been registered, and parents of the missing children have been informed, according to the police. A search for the students of the private school is underway, police told PTI.
Cops are looking at places they could have gone to, vehicles they may have used to move and are scanning CCTV footage. There is a vigil at the entry and exit points of Shimla, they added.
