A 31-year-old MSc Physics student died on Saturday morning inside the IIT Delhi campus. He jumped from the sixth floor of the lecture hall, police said.

After an initial probe, police said he entered the campus through the main gate of IIT Delhi at around 8 am. He then reached the lecture hall complex and took the elevator to the sixth floor.
Police haven’t found signs of ante-mortem injuries. They have not recovered any suicide note from the scene.
A mobile phone was recovered from the student’s pocket.
