Mary Millben Comes Out In PM Modi’s Support

American singer Mary Millben has made a fresh allegation about the funding of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), claiming that the outfit is receiving financial support from select donors in the United States who oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi. She has also urged young Indians to organise a peaceful counter-movement against the group. Millben’s remarks have come amid protests by CJP members and opposition supporters over alleged irregularities in the revision of electoral rolls and demands for Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar’s resignation.

Mary Millben Backs PM Modi Against CJP Protests

Mary Millben shared her views on social media on Wednesday, October 14. In her post on X, she directly named CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and the group’s official account while alleging that American donors opposed to PM Modi were supporting their activities. She also questioned the intentions behind the funding and claimed that it could affect India’s governance and development.

The singer alleged that certain US-based donors follow a pattern of targeting conservative leaders across the world. According to her, they identify people from the countries they wish to influence who have studied in the United States, radicalise them and send them back to organise activities that create unrest. Millben claimed that such efforts could disrupt a country’s progress and governance.

Millben has been a vocal supporter of PM Modi and has previously expressed her admiration for the Indian Prime Minister.

Mary Millben Makes An Appeal To Young Indians

Along with making the allegations, Mary Millben called on young Indians to speak out against what she described as the CJP’s disruptive activities. In her post, she wrote, “This is not the time to be silent,” and addressed young Indians as patriots. She urged them not to be afraid and encouraged them to stand up for the country’s future under PM Modi’s leadership.

Millben also called for a peaceful public response to the movement. She argued that there should be a counter-movement to protect democracy and freedom. “It is time for a new voice in #India, born, raised, educated on the soil of India, to RISE UP, organize, and peacefully protest the disruptive spirit of the Cockroach Party. There should always be a counter movement to uphold democracy and freedom,” she wrote.
