A geo-intelligence and OSINT expert Damien Symon has shared a new satellite photo suggesting that Pakistan is still repairing its military establishments, even 8 months after Operation Sindoor.

Almost 8 months after India bombed multiple air bases in Pakistan during Operation Sindoor to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack, it seems that the neighbour is still struggling to make its defence infrastructure operational again.
According to a latest satellite photo shared by Damien Symon, a geo-intelligence and OSINT expert, shows one of Pakistan’s military command in Murid air base that was targeted by India in May 2025, covered in a giant red Tarpaulin, singaling that the site is still under repair.
Damien Symon shared this development on X saying, “Updated imagery of a military command building targeted by India at Pakistan’s Murid Airbase during the May 2025 conflict now shows a new covering over the entire roof likely as repairs continue, previously only the impact area was covered.”

Back in November, several other satellite images were shared by Damien Symon that suggested Pakistan was rebuilding its Nur Khan Airbase, which was pounded by the Indian Armed Forces during Operation Sindoor.
The photos showed how Islamabad was reconstructing its destroyed warehouses and runways at the strategically located Nur Khan Airbase.
What Happened During Operation Sindoor and Why Was It Launched
India’s Operation Sindoor was a counter-terror offensive launched to avenge the Pahalgam terror attack, with precision strikes targeting terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK).
It was a swift, 88-hour military campaign that began on May 7, 2025, targeting multiple Pakistani military installations and terror camps, causing extensive damage to airbases, hangars, and terror infrastructure.
Indian armed forces struck nine major terror camps and eleven Pakistani military installations, including the Nur Khan, Chaklala, Rafiqui, Rahim Yar Khan, and Jacobabad airbases, among others.
