ROYAL FEARS Archie and Lilibet pulled from school by Harry & Meghan just two days into term over security concerns

THE Duke and Duchess of Sussex have moved their children to a new school just days after the start of term over security concerns.

Harry and Meghan’s children, Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, only met their new classmates last week but have already been moved.

The two young royals will now be sent to a new school, with their parents blaming traffic for the change.

Sources close to the couple reported that Harry, 41, and Meghan, 45, had no issue with the school itself.

Instead the pair had a problem with the practicalities of getting their two children to the school.

A source told HELLO! Magazine: “It’s a real shame, because they absolutely adored the school, the kids and their parents.

“It was perfect for them in every way and the children really enjoyed their time there. They really wanted to make it work, but they had to make a difficult decision based on the fact that the team couldn’t make the school run operationally secure.”

Traffic in the area reportedly made it difficult for Harry and Meghan to get Archie and Lilibet to the school with their vehicles in convoy – which raised further concerns.

Bodyguards for the Sussexes reportedly checked the school over the Summer holidays before the children were sent there.

But the security teams did not properly check the school run before the first day of term.

Archie and Lilibet will now join another school in the area on Monday for their first lessons.

Harry and Meghan have reportedly already been added to parents social media groups with Harry also spotted dropping Lilibet off at reception.

A spokesman for the Duke and Duchess said: “The decision for the children to move school was taken following a discussion with the family’s security team about the practicalities of their current arrangements.

“The parents remain extremely grateful to all the teachers and staff for the love, care and effort they have shown their family.

“This decision should in no way be interpreted as a reflection on the school or the exceptional care the children have received there.”

The Sun earlier this month revealed that the Duchess of Sussex was nervous about doing the school run for Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

A source told The Sun: “The school run is a tricky issue and I understand why they are nervous about it.”

The school swap comes after Harry and Meghan were granted their first government backed security review since returning to the UK.

The Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) has written to the Duke of Sussex and informed him that his and Meghan’s situation was discussed at a meeting last week.
