Rishabh Pant has sought CM Pushkar Dhami’s help to acquire land in Uttarakhand to return to his native place. He wants to buy land from the government.
India cricketer Rishabh Pant has set social media abuzz with a late-night post on X (formerly Twitter), in which he made a plea to Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami. Pant has asked CM Pushkar to help him acquire land in his native Uttarakhand after his own efforts to buy one went in vain.
Pant described his futile attempts as a “nightmare”, while claiming that he was supposed to receive land for promoting the state. The wicketkeeper-batter added that he wishes to shift his base back to Uttarakhand to be closer to his “pahadi people”.
Pant, who hails from Uttarakhand, came through the ranks while representing Delhi in domestic cricket. While he laid the foundation for his India career playing cricket in the national capital, he now wishes to move back to his native place and build his “first house” in the state.
Pant is currently involved in a warmup match between India and Sri Lanka Cricket XI in Colombo.

I have been trying to buy land to shift my base from Delhi to Uttrakhand and I couldn’t find anything facilitating and big to live here I love my Uttrakhand. My humble request to us is please help me in land acquisition cause nowadays it had become nitemare with clarity and even other land is dew which was I supposedly get when I was promoting the state before keeping everything in side I wanna move back to my native place to help and built around Uttrakhand and I want to shif back to my Pahadi people please look into this matter it’s been 3 years didn’t get any land awaiting your answer @pushkardhami sir,” Pant posted late at night.

“A gift would be lovey for representation out states at the highest level internationally stages but if you allow me I wanna buy it from Government and on there rates at least I can have my first house built in my own state and our state please be helpful. Seriously didn’t know how to do it,” he wrote.
