Bishnoi, imprisoned in Gujarat, and Brar, reportedly in the US, have parted ways due to disputes over the handling of Bishnoi’s brother Anmol’s legal situation.

Strained ties between gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar are complicating the efforts of central intelligence agencies and the state police forces, a recent report has revealed. Bishnoi, imprisoned in Gujarat, and Brar, reportedly in the US, have allegedly parted ways due to disputes over the handling of Bishnoi’s brother Anmol’s arrest, The Indian Express reported, citing sources. This has made tracking their criminal syndicate harder for the agencies since they seem to no longer be working together.
The fallout reportedly stemmed from Lawrence Bishnoi’s anger at Goldy Brar and Sachin Godara over their handling of his brother Anmol’s case in the United States, the report said, citing sources. According to the report, Brar and Godara did not help Anmol file the required bail bond.
Anmol Bishnoi, brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, was reportedly arrested in California last year. He is said to be involved in high-profile crimes, including the Baba Siddique murder case. Anmol Bishnoi had also claimed responsibility for the firing incident outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan’s Mumbai house.
After the fallout, Goldy has reportedly started working with Azerbaijan-based Godara while Bishnoi is now associated with Canada-based Noni Rana.
Goldy Brar reveals why he killed Sidhu Moose Wala
In a recent documentary, Goldy Brar had also shared how he and his associates had killed Sidhu Moose Wala and the role Lawrence played. The tension began over a kabaddi tournament in Punjab, he claimed. “That’s a village our rivals come from. He was promoting our rivals. That’s when Lawrence and others were upset with him. They threatened Sidhu and said they wouldn’t spare him,” Brar claimed.
According to the BBC report, tensions were defused through the intervention of Vicky Middukhera, an associate of Bishnoi’s and an intermediary. But Middukhera was gunned down in Mohali in August 2021.
“He (Sidhu) should have been booked. He should have been jailed. But nobody listened to our plea. So we took it upon ourselves. When decency falls on deaf ears, it’s the gunshot that gets heard,” Brar said.
