Houses, bridges, roads, and other vital infrastructure were either destroyed or severely damaged. On the Chinese side of the border, the mudslide also inundated the Gyirong port.
The death toll in the Nepal-Tibet flood disaster has reached 469, according to the latest update issued by the Nepal Police.
According to the update, 1,545 people have been injured so far.
The police said that 28 police personnel remain out of contact, while 8,386 police personnel have been mobilised for rescue and relief operations in the affected areas.
Among the recovered bodies, 110 were found in Nawalparasi East, the highest number reported from a single district. Chitwan recorded 108 deaths, while 44 bodies were recovered in Gorkha, 37 in Nuwakot, 33 in Dhading, 28 in Tanahun and 27 in Nawalparasi West. Rasuwa accounted for 12 recovered bodies.
The police update also provided details of injured and rescued people in some of the affected districts. Rasuwa recorded 644 people, Nuwakot 898 and Dhading three under the injured and rescued category.
Meanwhile, 84 injured people were being treated or had been discharged from various hospitals in Kathmandu Valley, according to the Nepal Police update.
The latest figures come as police personnel continue rescue and relief operations in areas affected by the Rasuwa-Bhotekoshi floods.

The flood disaster struck on Wednesday after a glacier and part of the mountain slope gave way in the high Himalayas. The collapse triggered a massive avalanche of ice, rocks and debris, which rushed into the valley and caused a powerful surge through the river network towards Nepal.
The sudden deluge and debris flows then tore through settlements located along the Trishuli and Bhote Koshi river corridors. Houses, bridges, roads, hydropower facilities and other vital infrastructure were either destroyed or severely damaged. On the Chinese side of the border, the mudslide also inundated the Gyirong port.
Satellite imagery from Vantor has captured the scale of the devastation. Areas that previously contained a functioning border crossing and supporting infrastructure have been replaced by a heavily damaged landscape, with large stretches of the valley floor now buried under water and debris.
Among the worst-hit locations is the Rasuwagadhi crossing, a key trade and transit link connecting Nepal with Tibet. Its destruction has disrupted cross-border movement, while damage to roads and bridges has created major challenges for emergency teams trying to access the affected areas.
