Lindsay Clancy’s wheelchair has a curious sticker – what it could mean

Lindsay Clancy’s wheelchair appears to have a bizarre nod to her lawyer — in the form of a sticker, eagle-eyed trial observers noticed this week.

A pink sticker reading “#sidebah” affixed to a drink holder carrying a Diet Coke on Clancy’s wheelchair was captured in a photo on Wednesday as jury deliberations continued in the Massachusetts mother-of-three’s murder trial.

The sticker’s phrase, which has been the subject of scrutiny on social media, appears to refer to the way her lawyer, Kevin Reddington, says sidebar in his Boston accent.

Reddington’s Bostonian pronunciation was evident on Thursday as he spoke about a sidebar in which it was revealed that a juror allegedly “refused” to follow the law’s definition of “reasonable doubt” in determining a verdict.

The passionate criminal defense lawyer, who has held Clancy’s hand through tough moments of the trial, has become a feminist icon among many supporters of the postpartum moms.

It remains unclear whether Clancy placed the sticker on her own wheelchair, but the lighthearted quip puzzled some social media users who have followed the grueling, six-week trial.

“#LindsayClancy has the audacity to put a “joke” sticker “SideBah” on her drink holder?!?!!! Does she think that’s all a joke?!” one user wrote on X.

“The kids are in the ground and she thinks this is a damn joke ?? Tell me that’s not who she is,” another user said.
