Krishna Das had been an integral part of the show since its inception, capturing countless memorable moments. His contributions were recognized in 2018 when he received the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award. Beyond his professional achievements, Das Dada was celebrated for his warmth and ever-present smile, endearing him to everyone on set.
The show’s team shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, stating, “We have lost Das Dada, the soul behind the lens, who captured countless beautiful moments with us since the beginning of The Kapil Sharma Show. More than just an associate photographer, he was family—always smiling, always kind, and always there. His presence brought warmth and light, not just through his camera, but in every moment he shared with us. You will be missed beyond words, Dada. Rest in peace. Your memories will live on in every frame and every heart.”
Comedian Kiku Sharda also expressed his grief by sharing the tribute on his Instagram story, writing, “We will miss you, Das Dada.” Former cast member Sugandha Mishra conveyed her condolences in the comments section with folded hands and a broken heart emoji.
