Gurugram Murder Case: In a chat accessed by Times Now, Radhika told her coach that she wanted to relocate to Dubai or Australia to pursue a few courses and enjoy life on her own terms.

Tennis player Radhika Yadav, who was shot dead by her father, had been living under restrictions and was eager to move abroad to live independently. In a chat accessed by Times Now, Radhika told her coach that she wanted to relocate to Dubai or Australia to pursue a few courses and enjoy life on her own terms.
She also mentioned that her father was against the idea of her staying abroad.
” Wanna enjoy life, idhaar kaffi restrictions hai. Merko Nikalna hai idhar se todhe time ke liye,” Radhika wrote in WhatsApp messages.
Why Was Radhika Killed?
A series of incidents, including family tensions over the women’s financial independence, her Instagram videos, and a recent appearance in a music video is reported to have forced her father to commit the crime.
Radhika Was Shot 4 Times
Tennis player Radhika Yadav was shot four times, and not three times as stated in the FIR. The autopsy report of Radhika has revealed that her father, Deepak Yadav, allegedly shot her four times from behind, and all the bullets have been recovered from her body.
So far, the police investigation has revealed that Deepak Yadav was a temperamental individual, and he killed his daughter reportedly because she refused to shut down her tennis academy despite his repeated demands.
According to statements given to the local police by family members, Deepak had always been deeply suspicious about the behaviour of both his daughter and his wife. On one occasion, he had a heated confrontation with his wife merely because she was speaking with Deepak’s real brother.
No Honour Killing Or Love Angle
A Gurugram court on Friday sent Deepak Yadav, arrested for killing his daughter and tennis player Radhika Yadav, to one-day police custody. Radhika Yadav, 25, was allegedly shot dead by his father, Deepak Yadav (49) at the family’s double-storey home in the upscale Sushant Lok area on Thursday. He has reportedly confessed to the crime.
