Jugni singer Sonu Thukral has lodged a police complaint after an AI-edited clip of his song went viral. The singer confirmed via his social media account that Jacqueline Fernandez’s viral video was doctored.

Jacqueline Fernandez-starrer song Jugni was recently released on social media. The Bollywood actress featured in the track crooned by Sonu Thukral. After the track premiered online, a video of Jacqueline went viral on the internet. According to media reports, the track allegedly showed the actress experiencing a wardrobe malfunction. Now, singer Sonu has officially filed a police complaint, stating that the viral clip has been generated using artificial intelligence. The singer posted a picture with a police official on his Instagram account, and held a copy of the complaint in his hand.

Sonu Thukral, through his Instagram account, shared that he had filed a police complaint for a controversy over his song Jugni, featuring Jacqueline. The singer addded that the viral clip has been edited using AI. According to him, the AI-generated version of the video is being further circulated and he will talk about it publically soon. For the unversed, Sonu collaborated with famous singer B Praak for Jugni, which was released on July 15 this year. Earlier, while sharing a BTS of the track with B Praak, the musician had shared, “O haryane se delhi takk chhori na sunti order..!!! Jugni is everywhere.”

On the work front, Jacqueline was last seen in Welcome to the Jungle. The actress featured alongside an ensemble star cast, which included Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, and others. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the comic caper was a third installment in the Welcome franchise. She played the role of Jenny in the movie, which was released on June 26. The movie was backed by Star Studio, 18 Base Industries Group, Cape of Good Films and Seeta Films.
