Speaking to The New Indian Express, IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal shared that the league is keeping a close watch on the situation.
“We are reviewing the development. Since this is an evolving situation, nothing can be said as of now. But given the requirement of the situation, we will take a call accordingly,” Dhumal mentioned.
Although the tournament schedule has yet to be announced, the board is working to avoid conflicts with state elections, with the tournament slated to begin on March 28. However, if the current situation persists, the BCCI and IPL may need to make a decision.
Besides the LPG supply issue, logistics pose another challenge, similar to what was experienced during the recent T20 World Cup, won by India.
