MADONNA left her fans screaming in horror as she took to the stage and performed a dangerous stunt in New York’s Times Square.
The 67-year-old pop star set pulses racing through sheer terror as she was suspended above the crowd, partially onstage and partially dangling over the barricade.
Fresh off her surprise Coachella performance, Madonna was played surprise Pride concert in the middle of New York City, which was hosted by LGBTQ+ dating app Grindr.
Floating above the audience on the suspended stage, there was a clear barricade in front of where the superstar danced around and crooned her classic hits, such as I Love New York and Hung Up.
Dressed in a skintight pink corset, thigh-high boots, and blue-tinted sunglasses, Madonna performed the free 15-minute concert to the hundreds of fans in the Big Apple.
But she left fans fearful when she swung one leg over the protective barrier in a very daring and potentially dangerous move.
Fans were quick to share their terror on social media, with one person writing on X: “The way I screamed ‘Madonna no don’t!!!!’ when she was hanging over the barricade!”
Another echoed: “I was scared to death.”
“I did too!!! Literally screamed,” added a third.
While a fourth penned: “Omg yeah. I had bad images in my head. But it all worked.”
And a fifth wrote: “That made me so nervous.”
Fans were likely worried for the star because she has previously suffered nasty falls while on stage.
At the 2015 BRIT Awards, Madonna suffered a severe backwards plunge down a flight of stairs while she performed in London‘s O2 Arena.
The nasty ordeal happened because her custom Armani cape was tied too tightly around her neck, so when a backing dancer pulled it away as part of the choreography, she was yanked backwards.
Then, during her Seattle show as part of her 2024 Celebration Tour, a piece of choreography went wrong when Madonna slid from a chair onto the floor.
