In her complaint, filed on July 18, she claimed the accused subjected her to repeated harassment over several weeks.
A Hyderabad IPS probationer accused a fellow trainee officer of a series of offences, including stalking, physical assault, intimidation and illegally recording a private video, leading to the registration of a criminal case. The complainant, identified as Suma HK, alleged that the incidents took place while both officers were undergoing training at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA). In her complaint, filed on July 18, she claimed the accused subjected her to repeated harassment over several weeks.
Among the allegations, the trainee officer said the accused sent her sexually explicit and abusive messages, publicly humiliated her before other probationers and repeatedly confronted her over his suspicions about her personal life. She alleged that his behaviour became increasingly aggressive and intrusive, with repeated attempts to monitor and control her interactions.
The complaint further stated that the accused forced access to her mobile phone, demanding to see private conversations and insisting that she reveal her password. She alleged that on one occasion, he took possession of the device and pressured her to unlock it.
The most serious accusations relate to events on July 9, when the complainant alleged she was forcibly taken into the accused’s room and assaulted. She claimed she was dragged by her hair, threatened with a knife and prevented from leaving. During the confrontation, the accused allegedly threw packets of condoms at her.
She also alleged that another incident of physical misconduct occurred the following day, when the accused attempted to touch her without consent.
In a separate allegation, the probationer claimed the accused secretly recorded an intimate video and later shared it with her husband as a means of coercion and blackmail. She further accused him of circulating false claims about her among colleagues in an attempt to damage her reputation.
