Authorities have dismantled a doctor-led terror module linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind through coordinated operations in multiple regions, resulting in eight arrests, including three doctors from Al Falah University.

The investigation into the doctor-led terror module unfolded through a series of coordinated raids and recoveries across Faridabad, Nuh, Mewat and Jammu & Kashmir, according to top Faridabad Police sources.
Eight people, including three doctors affiliated with the Al Falah University in Faridabad, were arrested and 2,900 kg of explosives seized with the uncovering of a white collar terror module involving the Jaish-e-Mohammed and Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind and spanning Kashmir, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
Here’s the sequence of events:
October 30:
Jammu & Kashmir Police reached Faridabad with a search warrant. The Police Commissioner assigned the Crime Branch to assist. On the same day, Dr Muzammil was arrested from Al-Falah University and taken to J&K on transit remand.
November 8:
J&K Police returned with inputs from Muzammil’s interrogation indicating the presence of weapons and explosives. From Dr Shaheen’s silver Swift, police recovered an assault rifle, a pistol, three rifle magazines, 83 cartridges, and two pistol magazines with seven live rounds. The car was seized from inside the campus.
Twelve teams from Faridabad Crime Branch and J&K Police conducted searches across the university, Douj and nearby areas.
November 9:
In Room No. 15 of a building in Douj, police found 12 suitcases containing 358 kg of ready-to-use explosives.
Timers, batteries, detonators, cutters, masks, wigs, wires and IED-making materials were also recovered. Everything was handed over to the J&K Police bomb squad.
November 10:
Based on further inputs, 2,553 kg of ammonium nitrate packed in bags was recovered from the house of Imam Ishtiyaq in Fatehpur Taga.
At 6:50 pm, the Red Fort blast took place.
By this time, since Muzammil’s arrest on October 30, Dr Umar had been absconding, with his movements traced around Nuh and Mewat.
November 12:
Police received input about a suspicious red EcoSport. The vehicle was traced and rounded up from Khandawali village. No explosives were found, but the car was forwarded for forensic testing to check residue.
November 13:
The EcoSport was seized at 5 pm.
Wasib, a Douj resident linked to Umar and working as a computer operator at the university, was detained and handed over to investigating agencies.
A silver Brezza belonging to Shaheen was also located inside the university. NSG and CFSL inspected and seized the vehicle; nothing suspicious was found.
