Cab Driver Reveals Details on Driving Siya Goyal To Mumbai Airport

As the investigation into the death of Ketan Agarwal unfolds, the driver of the cab that took him and his fiancée, Siya Goyal, to Mumbai Airport for their Bali trip has provided critical details about their journey. The driver, who drove the couple and Goyal’s brother, Sahil, from Pune to the airport, reported a tense atmosphere inside the vehicle during their journey.

According to him, Siya initially expressed reluctance to board the cab, stating she did not want to go to Bali for their pre-wedding shoot. Sahil reportedly had to force her into the car.

“Siya did not want to go to Bali and was reluctant to even get into the car. Siya’s brother, Sahil, held her hand and made her sit inside the car,” the driver said, adding that during the journey between Pune and Ravet (Pimpri-Chinchwad), Siya and her brother Sahil had an argument inside the car.

The situation escalated during the ride, particularly after picking up Ketan and other family members in Kiwale Lodha. An argument erupted between Siya and Sahil, highlighting underlying tensions within the group.

On the way, the group stopped at a food court for tea and snacks. The driver alleged that Siya returned to the car on the pretext of taking something and removed an item from the vehicle, keeping it in her pocket.

After dropping the group at the airport, Jadhav received a call from Ketan about the missing passport, leading to a frantic search that ultimately proved unsuccessful. The driver then realised that Siya had allegedly taken Ketan’s passport from the food court stop.

Siya, Chetan’s Police Custody Extended

A court in Pune on Monday, June 29, extended the police custody of Siya Goyal and co-accused Chetan Chaudhary in the realtor Ketan Agarwal murder case till July 3. Siya Goyal (20) and Chetan Chaudhary (22) have been arrested for allegedly conspiring to kill 25-year-old Ketan Agarwal and pushing him off a cliff at the Lohagad Fort in Pune district on June 18.

The duo was produced before the court of A M Vibhute in Vadgaon Maval after their initial police custody ended on Monday. The prosecution sought an extension of custody, highlighting the need for probing aspects like the exact spot of the crime on a fort and a missing passport.
