Errol Musk, father of Elon Musk, is set to visit Ayodhya’s Ram temple on June 4 and may be accorded state guest status by the Uttar Pradesh government.

Errol Musk, father of billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, is scheduled to visit the Ram temple in Ayodhya on June 4, officials confirmed. The Uttar Pradesh government is likely to extend him the status of a state guest for the occasion. As per a report, an official said that visiting Ram temple “is part of his (Errol Musk’s) itinerary”.
Senior officials deployed in Ayodhya are working in coordination with the temple trust to facilitate a smooth ‘darshan’ for Musk during his visit. “We would check if the protocol accorded to the state guest will be extended to Musk during the visit,” said a senior government officer in Ayodhya.
The state guest protocol typically includes an escort vehicle with security personnel and the appointment of liaison officers—such as a sub-divisional magistrate or deputy police superintendent—to receive the guest at the airport and accompany them around the city.

Musk is currently on a five-day visit to India and is expected to hold multiple business meetings with local entrepreneurs and industrialists during his stay.
