In Lucknow, a police inspector was caught on camera slapping an army officer, Lieutenant Colonel Anand Prakash Suman, during a road rage incident.

A police inspector was caught on CCTV slapping an army officer in an incident of road rage in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The cop was seen shouting at the officer, who is a Lieutenant Colonel, and later the policeman slapped him by forcing his hands inside the car. The police official also allegedly tried to run his car over the officer when the matter escalated. The Army official was reportedly with his wife and daughter when the incident took place.
Lieutenant Colonel Anand Prakash Suman later filed a complaint at the PGI police station and accused the inspector of slapping him and intentionally running his car over his foot. The incident took place on June 21, at around 9:40 am.
The CCTV footage of the incident has surfaced, in which the inspector is seen coming from the wrong side of the road in a car. He then tries to cross the intersection and moves his car in front of an oncoming four-wheeler.
Colonel Anand Prakash Suman turned from Telibagh intersection towards PGI road in his car. Just then, the police official’s vehicle came from the wrong direction and the Lt Colonel had to suddenly apply brakes. During this, an auto collided with his car from behind.
