On Rise And Fall, Dhanashree Verma made a shocking allegation, claiming that she caught her ex-husband Yuzvendra Chahal cheating just two months into their marriage.
Cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal’s ex-wife, choreographer Dhanashree Verma is currently seen on the reality show ‘Rise And Fall’ hosted by Ashneer Grover. On the show, she recently made a shocking allegation against her ex-husband Yuzvendra, claiming that she caught him cheating on her just two months into their marriage. Dhanashree and Yuzvendra, who tied the knot in 2020, officially got divorced in March this year.
On Rise And Fall, Kubbra Sait asked Dhanashree when she first realized that her marriage with Yuzvendra won’t work. “When did you realise in your relationship that, ‘Bhai, yeh nahi chal sakta, yeh mistake ho gaya hai abhi?’ (When did you realize in your relationship that, this can’t go on, and that it was a mistake?),” asked Kubbra. Dhanashree replied, “First year. Caught him in the second month,” leaving Kubbra shocked. Check out the video below!
Dhanashree Reacts To Alimony Claims
Earlier on the show, Dhanashree revisited her split with Yuzvendra Chahal, revealing that rumours about alimony were untrue. She told Aditya Narayan, “Officially, it has been almost a year. It happened quickly because it was mutual, that’s why when people say alimony, it’s wrong. Just because I am not saying anything, you will go on saying anything? My parents have taught me to only justify to people whom I care about. Why waste time explaining those who don’t even know you?”
When asked about the length of their marriage, Dhanashree shared, “We were married for four years, we dated 6-7 months before that.” On dealing with accusations around alimony, she added, “Eventually, you get hurt when you see that happening. It was not needed. None of it is true. I felt worse wondering why did he do it? It’s okay, I will always keep his respect, that is what I believe in. Now, I don’t think I can date anybody.”
