Brazil rejects proposed US tariffs related to forced labor

The Brazilian government expressed “deep disagreements” with the United States’ proposal of new tariffs linked to forced labor in a statement on Wednesday, saying the move distorts the issue of protecting working conditions to justify unilateral, protectionist measures.
