Days after attaining fatherhood, Rajkummar Rao made his first public appearance on Monday when he attended an award show on his wife, Patralekhaa’s, behalf. While she received an award for her performance in the film Phule, Rao collected it and thanked the makers of the film. He then also delivered a small speech, which won everyone’s hearts. The actor mentioned that he was in a hurry because “both his darlings” were waiting for him.
“Thank you jury for thinking of Patralekhaa because I think she is such a wonderful actor. She didn’t get too many opportunities but whenever she got them, she has killed it – be it Phule, IC814, Citylights and many more. And now, of course, I have to go to the hospital where both my darlings are waiting for me,” Rajkummar Rao said, as quoted by Free Press Journal.

The couple became proud parents to a baby girl on November 15. They issued a joint statement and revealed that their little princess arrived on the occasion of their fourth wedding anniversary. “We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl,” they wrote and then added, “The greatest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary.”
