Influencers Andrew Tate and Tristan Tate were reportedly seen meeting figures linked to US President Donald Trump’s administration in Washington, DC, days before they were arrested on new rape and sex trafficking charges in the United States. The brothers, aged 39 and 38 respectively, were arrested in Miami on Saturday after Bedfordshire Police announced 38 additional charges against them. According to the force, the pair now face a total of 59 criminal charges.
The brothers have also faced allegations, including rape and human trafficking, in multiple countries.
According to the Daily Mail, the Tates attended a social gathering hosted by Paolo Zampolli, a businessman and Trump’s special envoy, at his Washington home before visiting Ned, a private club frequented by members of the Trump administration.
The report also said the brothers visited Capitol Hill, where they met several lawmakers, including Texas Representative Wesley Hunt.
Zampolli has previously appeared on Andrew Tate’s podcast.
In May, Tate described the episode as featuring Zampolli “sharing the secrets of high-level networking and what it truly takes to operate at the top of the food chain.”
Zampolli has recently been involved in a public dispute with his former partner, Brazilian model Amanda Ungaro, over claims surrounding how Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump first met.
Ungaro alleged that Zampolli had falsely claimed to have introduced the couple in 1998 and instead alleged that Melania Trump had met Donald Trump through the late financier Jeffrey Epstein. She also claimed the First Lady had worked as an “escort” for Epstein.
Zampolli rejected the allegations, saying: “I think it is a disgrace that she dares to say this about our marvelous first lady.”
Melania Trump has also denied any connection to Epstein.
According to The New York Times, Ungaro was arrested in June 2025 on fraud-related charges and was later deported after overstaying her visa.
The newspaper also reported that Zampolli had asked the Trump administration for assistance, requesting that Ungaro be placed in Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention during an ongoing custody dispute over their teenage son. Zampolli has denied any involvement in her deportation.
