SRK’s look was not only a head-turner but also caught the attention across the globe.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan created history by becoming the first Indian male actor to walk the blue carpet at the prestigious Met Gala, and as expected, the ‘King Khan’ made a royal entrance that left everyone in awe.
For his debut appearance at the Met Ball, SRK was seen in a custom look by Sabyasachi. He wore a floor-length, elongated coat in Tasmanian superfine wool with monogrammed, Japanese horn buttons.
He completed his regal avatar with crystal chains and the Bengal Tiger Head Cane, which was crafted in 18k gold with tourmalines, sapphires, old mine cut and brilliant cut diamonds. A signature ‘K’ necklace as a nod to his iconic ‘King’ legacy.
SRK’s look was not only a head-turner but also caught the attention across the globe. Amul India, which has a history of paying tribute to famous personalities through its signature Amul Topical ads, twisted SRK’s Met Gala appearance, calling him “India’s Biggest GalaKaar!” (sic)
The artwork features an animated version of SRK in his Met Gala avatar, paired with the line “Always In Fashion,” celebrating both his timeless charisma and Amul’s ever-relevant wit. Amul captioned the post:
“#Amul Topical: Shahrukh Khan attends the world’s most prestigious and glamorous fashion event!” (sic)
Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance generated a lot of buzz among his fans in India, with many amused by how he had to introduce himself to the Western media.
