The milestone was also announced by CRPF Director General GP Singh. In a post on X, Singh said the force had completed one year without any operational fatality, with the last such death reported on October 30, 2025.
“This has happened after 47 years (last such period ended in January 1979),” the CRPF chief said.
Officials said nine CRPF personnel were killed while performing operational duties between January 1 and October 30, 2025.
The force said the achievement came despite sustained and intensified operations across various operational theatres where its personnel are deployed.
A senior CRPF officer described the development as a satisfying achievement, noting that the force has been at the forefront of internal security operations in several violence-affected regions.
“Not losing even a single jawan or officer in operations reflects the improving security situation and the force learning from its mistakes,” the officer said.
