Prashant Kishor challenged Samrat Choudhary and Tejashwi Yadav to sit their Class 10 exams together. The jibe came after Mithilesh Tiwari told Tejashwi Yadav to clear matriculation before backing student protests.
Jan Suraaj Party founder Prashant Kishor on Tuesday challenged Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary and Leader of Opposition Tejashwi Yadav to sit for their matriculation exams together and clear the test. Kishor suggested that Education Minister Mithilesh Tiwari should propose the idea at the next cabinet meeting.
The Bankipur MLA made the tongue-in-cheek remark while responding to Tiwari’s advice to Yadav to clear his Class 10 exams before backing protests by students. “Tiwari should give the same suggestion to Samrat Choudhary as well. Let him propose in the next cabinet meeting that both the CM and the LoP sit for their matriculation exams together,” Kishor said, news agency PTI reported.
Kishor said he was also making the appeal on behalf of Bihar’s youth and urged both leaders to take up the challenge.
“People of Bihar should have the confidence that their leaders are capable of clearing their class 10 exams,” he said, adding, “Choudhary and Yadav must rise to the challenge.”
The remarks came after Tiwari advised Tejashwi Yadav to clear his Class 10 examination before supporting student protests. HeYadav, the RJD working president, had dropped out of school after failing Class 9, according to the report.
