A formal complaint has been submitted to the Hyderabad Cyber Crime authorities by P Nishanth Kumar, who serves as the manager of both actors. The complaint seeks an investigation into allegedly false and misleading material circulating online after their Koffee With Karan appearance. Their team has also submitted relevant links and supporting evidence for examination by the authorities.
In the complaint, P Nishanth Kumar has clarified that the legal action is not intended to restrict freedom of speech or prevent people from expressing genuine criticism. Instead, it seeks accountability for allegedly false information and potentially unlawful online activity.
The team has also urged social media users to exercise caution while sharing unverified claims.
