When Instagram user Sajan Mahto came across an auto driver demanding ₹200 and his student budget was less, he did what any Gen Z might: turned to ChatGPT for help.
He asked OpenAI’s tool to speak for him and bargain with the auto driver in Bengaluru.

In a now-viral Instagram reel, which has already attracted 2.3 million views, Sajan started exploring ChatGPT’s voice feature by saying, “Hi ChatGPT, can you help me negotiate with the auto driver in Bengaluru? The auto driver is saying that the fare is Rs 200, and I am a student. Please negotiate it for Rs 100”.
He added, asking ChatGPT to be polite and convincing, “Please talk to him nicely as my big brother”.
Seconds later, he held the phone up and played the response.
