NEWLY-RELEASED audio has allegedly caught one of the Cornell frat brothers accused of gang raping a woman in a lie about the harrowing Snapchat messages tied to the case.
A 20-year-old woman identified as Jane Doe alleged seven members of the Chi Phi fraternity sexually assaulted her for several hours in 2024.

The former Cornell student alleged in a civil lawsuit that she was repeatedly sexually assaulted after she went to a frat house on the Ithaca, New York, campus while heavily intoxicated on the night of October 19, 2024.
Doe said she had about 10 standard drinks before she arrived, and alleged she was taken to an upstairs room of the house where two men began engaging in sexual acts simultaneously without her consent.
She further alleged she was pressured into taking ketamine, and that a message was sent in a Chi Phi Snapchat group chat suggesting a woman was available for sex at the frat house.
She then alleged multiple men came into the room and sexually assaulted her until nearly 6am.
There have been no criminal charges filed in the case, and several of the men named in the civil suit have denied the allegations against them.
In a phone call recording obtained by ABC News, Doe called one of the men named in the suit, saying she was “trying to piece everything together” from the night of October 19, 2024 as she was “deeply, deeply intoxicated.”
Doe told Winston Lee, a sophomore at Cornell at the time, that she was “completely and totally intoxicated and then given multiple sedatives.”
“And then I was surrounded by upwards of eight to ten men … This is classified as a gang rape,” she continued, saying she also said “yes” to taking ketamine at one point.
Lee then asked Doe what her purpose was for calling him.
“I was blacked out for half of it … how did all these people get in there?” she asked.
Lee did not mention in the call that he responded in the Snapchat group chat where one of his frat brother said there was “free p***y” in the alumni room of the frat house, according to ABC News.
“CHI PHIII,” Lee allegedly responded, per a photo of the group chat shared in the civil lawsuit filing.
“There was nothing saying that like, um, anything was happening in that room or anything…” he told Doe on the phone call.
Lee also told Doe in the phone call, “I’m so sorry about all like the backlash you’re getting from this … I feel so bad for you, dude.
“I actually, right afterwards they told me not to message you because they thought you were going through a lot, so, I constructed this like letter to send to you.”
Doe’s lawsuit alleged Lee snorted ketamine off her body and forced her to perform oral sex.
After the Ivy League University conducted a review of Doe’s allegations, Lee was given a two-year suspension and was ordered not to contact her.
He was given several semesters of disciplinary probation that would apply once he returned, ordered to complete work involving sexual harassment education and required to write a reflection paper.
Lee has not responded to the allegations in the recent civil filing, but said when questioned by university officials weeks after the alleged incident that Doe did not seem overly intoxicated.
“They weren’t slurring their speech. They seem perfectly normal,” Lee said, according to the New York Times.
Lee also claimed Doe initiated sexual activity without asking after he snorted ketamine off her body, the outlet reported.
“I kind of took a step back because I didn’t want to engage in anything like sex,” he reportedly said.
“I thought it wasn’t the time for that.”
Lee said he asked later that night for Doe’s consent before taking part in a threesome, and recalled telling her, “If you’re uncomfortable with any of this or you won’t want to do this, that’s perfectly fine. We can call it a night.”
