Is it time for Dil Toh Pagal Hai 2? Well, you won’t be able to stop thinking about the iconic 1997 release as Madhuri Dixit and Karisma Kapoor have united for a gorgeous photograph. Whether you were Team Nisha or Team Pooja, Karisma and Madhuri’s latest photo will warm your heart in equal measure!
It was in 1997 when late legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra’s Dil Toh Pagal Hai hit the screens. The film starred Madhuri Dixit, Karisma Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and Akshay Kumar in key roles. Whether you were Team Nisha (played by Karisma) or Team Pooja (played by Madhuri), it goes without saying that both the actresses delivered performances that were just too impressive to miss. Years later, Madhuri and Karisma reunited and the result is an internet-breaking photograph.
Karisma, who is an ardent social media user, took to Instagram to treat fans to a frame-worthy click featuring Madhuri. “Look who I bumped into at the studio my all time fav MDji ???? #memoriesandmagic,” she captioned her post.
The photo, which is sure to make you nostalgic, has Madhuri and Karisma looking absolutely flawless. Almost like the duo hasn’t aged a day!
Interestingly enough, their outfit choices will also remind you of their characters’ looks from the film. While Madhuri opted for ethnic wear and looked absolutely ravishing in a mint green saree, Karisma glammed up in a patterned pantsuit. If you jog your memory a bit, you’d recall how Nisha always wore quirky athleisure in the film while Pooja’s picks were on the traditional side.
