Roshibina Devi won a silver medal in Wushu at the Asian Games 2026.

Wushu star Roshibina Devi settled for a silver medal after she lost to China’s Zhang Xiaoyu in the women’s Sanda 60kg final. Zhang dominated the gold-medal bout, winning 2-0 after taking both rounds 5-0. Roshibina struggled to find a way back as the Chinese fighter maintained control throughout the contest. Zhang came into the final after an impressive run at the Asian Games, which included a victory over Vietnam’s 2023 world champion Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy.
This was Roshibina’s second silver and third medal at the Asian Games. She also finished runner-up at the 2022 Hangzhou Games, losing the final to another Chinese fighter, Xiaowei Wu, while she won a bronze medal in the 2018 Games. Roshibina was not part of the original squad after losing the qualifiers to Divyanshi, who was ruled out of the Asian Games due to an injury, paving the way for Roshibina’s pass to the Asian Games. She started the campaign with a win over over Bangladesh’s Shika Kautam on point difference in Round of 16 before beating Macau’s Chu Man Sin in the quarter-finals 5-0. She was hopeful of adding a gold, but was outplayed in the final.
