While no significant change in maximum temperatures across the country has been predicted by the IMD, they might fall gradually by 2-3 degrees Celsius over the next 3 days, especially in northeastern states such as Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Sikkim, which are expected to receive consistent rainfall throughout the week.
