The Indian cricket team’s victory at the Oval will not just go down as one of the greatest victories by the Asian giants in Test cricket history, but also saw them shatter the record books as they sealed a win over England by a narrow margin of just six runs.
After an exciting series which saw both teams play some fine cricket, the 2025 Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy got the ending it deserved as the fifth Test, like the first four games, went into the final day. Chasing 374, England needed 35 runs at the start of play while India were four wickets away.
Mohammed Siraj completed a five-wicket haul while taking three wickets on Day
5 while Prasidh Krishna took four wickets in the fourth innings.
