Television actress Dipika Kakar, best known for her role in Sasural Simar Ka, is set to undergo surgery after being diagnosed with a liver tumour. Her husband, actor Shoaib Ibrahim, took to YouTube to share a health update about Dipika, requesting fans to keep her in their prayers during this challenging time.
In a video shared on his vlog, Shoaib revealed, “Dipika is not well. A lot of tests have been done, and a major health issue has been diagnosed. She has a liver tumour, and the doctor has advised surgery. It is a stressful time, but I have faith everything will be fine.”
Shoaib shared that they initially thought it was just a minor health issue, but after multiple medical check-ups, the seriousness of the condition was confirmed. “When things like this happen in the family, it affects everyone emotionally. I am just trying to stay strong for her,” he added.
He also mentioned that Dipika is keeping her spirits high despite the situation. “She’s strong, and we are trying our best to stay positive,” he said. Shoaib thanked fans for their constant support and asked them to pray for Dipika’s speedy recovery.
Dipika and Shoaib, who tied the knot in 2018, have always kept their fans updated about their personal lives through social media and YouTube. They welcomed their son Ruhaan in June 2023, and since then, their vlogs have become even more popular among viewers.
