The actor-singer arrived at the International Emmys dressed in the most quintessential award-night look — a fitted blazer and tailored trousers — only his came with an extra tinge of bling (which we’re not complaining about at all).
His look had an old-school Hollywood charm, and of course, the Punjabi flair was unmissable: a champagne sequin blazer with a soft, almost liquid shimmer. Complementing his sequinned blazer was a cream shirt and black bow tie, and his trademark black turban with a hint of maroon.

The film dives into the messy, thrilling and ultimately tragic world of the firebrand Punjabi singer whose bold lyrics made him a sensation and a target, leading to his untimely death.
Diljit’s performance has been praised for its rawness, sincerity, and the way he slips into Chamkila’s contradictions without glorifying them. The film itself has also landed a nomination in the Best TV Movie/Mini-Series category, giving Indian storytelling another moment on the global stage.
