THE White House has blasted a US senator as a “lightweight loser” after he claimed Donald Trump would rather build a ballroom and fly around than serve as president.
Natalie Harp, one of Trump’s aides who has earned the nickname the “human printer” came under fire in Georgia Senator Jon Ossoff’s comment, causing the White House to rush to her defense.
Ossoff, a Democrat who has served in the Senate since 2021, alleged Trump would prefer to “build his ballroom and travel with Natalie on their apparently defenseless flying palace” rather than serve as commander-in-chief.
Trump has faced intense backlash and legal roadblocks over his plan to build a new ballroom reportedly expected to cost millions of dollars.
Ossoff’s remark came in a rally speech on Sunday in Atlanta soon after it became public that Harp was one of the few people who were secretly taken off Air Force One with the president when leaving Turkey.
Trump confirmed on Wednesday that he switched planes after leaving the NATO summit in Turkey after his security team was reportedly briefed on two possibly dangerous threats.
Officials swiftly snuck Trump off the plane and into a catering truck before putting him on a military jet on July 8.
Several journalists and members of the Trump administration including Secretary of State Marco Rubio remained on the Air Force One flight while some were also whisked away with the president, like Secretary of War Pete Hegseth.
Harp, an executive assistant who regularly travels with Trump, was also one of the people taken off the flight.
The 35-year-old has been called the “human printer” because she is known to carry around a wireless printer to give Trump physical copies of news reports on the go.
After Ossoff blasted Trump for traveling around with Harp on a “defenseless” plane, Trump dismissed the senator as “Pee-wee Herman,” a fictional childish character portrayed by comedian Paul Reubens.
Trump said in the Oval Office he “would much rather do other things” than travel with his aide and work on the ballroom, adding, “We are building a great facility here.”
“Natalie Harp is one of the most loyal and hardest working aides on President Trump’s team,” White House spokesperson Davis Ingle said in a statement to Politico.
“Jon Ossoff is a cringeworthy, feminine theatre kid cosplaying as Barack Obama,” Ingle wrote on X on Monday.
“Nobody gives a s**t what this lightweight loser says.”
White House communications director Steven Cheung also joined in on blasting Ossoff, writing on X, “Jon Jackoff has to be the biggest cuck loser in politics.”
“Instead of denigrating hard working people serving their country, Jon should look deep into his soul and ask himself why he’s a miserable person who hates this country. It’s because he’s a radical, extremist Dumocrat” Cheung wrote.
Harp has had eyes on her in recent weeks after White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced she would be leaving her role at the end of August to spend more time with her family.
