‘Build And Strengthen People’s Trust’: Ram Mandir Trust CEO Jeetendra Mishra On His New Role

  • September 3, 2026

Former Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra will focus on strengthening the Ram Temple Trust, addressing gaps and building public trust.

News18

Former Air Marshal Jeetendra Mishra, the newly appointed CEO of the Ram Temple Trust, spoke exclusively to CNN-News18 following his appointment and said he was “extremely happy and grateful” to the Trust committee for reposing faith in him and appointing him to the key position.

Speaking about his priorities, Mishra said he would focus on strengthening the functioning of the Trust and addressing gaps that emerged during the temple-related processes. He also said he would prefer to stay away from the political aspects of the controversy surrounding the alleged embezzlement in the Ram Temple project.

Mishra To Stay Away From Political Controversy

Addressing the controversy, Mishra said that, coming from a defence background, he would prefer not to get involved in its political aspects and instead concentrate on the responsibilities ahead.

His focus, he said, would be on the functioning of the Trust and on addressing the issues that require attention on the ground.

‘Minor Lapses’ To Be Addressed

Mishra acknowledged that there had been some minor lapses during the temple-related processes and said addressing those gaps would be among his priorities.

Once he formally takes charge, Mishra said he will constitute his own team and begin work on strengthening the functioning of the Trust. He also plans to work towards resolving the issues that came to light during the controversy.
