Retired life wasn’t enough for Dinesh Mahant Thakordas, who now uses his Blinkit earnings to jet-set across the globe.

In a world where most 66-year-olds are eyeing a quiet life on a porch, Dinesh Mahant Thakordas is eyeing his next delivery location. A retired clerk from Ahmedabad, Dinesh spent 26 years working for a life insurance company, successfully raised three children, and secured a comfortable, “settled” life.
Most people in his position would slow down. Dinesh? He signed up for Blinkit.
What started as simple curiosity after spotting a delivery partner in his neighbourhood has turned into a record-breaking two-year streak. Dinesh has completed a staggering 10,220 orders, adhering to a disciplined routine that would put people half his age to shame.
His day starts at 5:00 AM, and by 6:00 AM, he is at the local “dark store.” He wraps up his morning shift by 11:30 AM, earning his way toward his true passion: Travel. Every rupee he makes as a delivery partner goes into a fund for exploring new cities, states, and even countries.
As he puts it: “Experience is the greatest school master.”
