In an interview with CBS News, the head of the world’s leading AI semiconductor manufacturer firmly pushed back against doomsday narratives circulating across Silicon Valley and Washington. Huang suggested that catastrophic predictions driving fear across the public sphere are unfounded and likely motivated by political interests or attention-seeking behaviour rather than sound technological evidence.

The Nvidia chief advocated for maintaining rapid acceleration in AI advancement rather than imposing regulatory slowdowns or development pauses.
