Pak DG ISPR says, “India must know that this time our response will be stronger.” “Pakistan is rattled and this just shows their strategic anxiety,” say top intel sources

India’s tri-services exercise Trishul, at a time when the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has reached Islamabad, has left Pakistan worried.
Lieutenant General (LG) Ahmed Shareef Chaudhry, Director General (DG) of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), media and public relations wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, vowed strong action during an informal interaction with journalists at Rawalpindi.
“India must know that this time our response will be stronger,” he said, according to sources.
“Pakistan is monitoring India’s tri-services exercise. India is preparing another false flag operation in the Arabian Sea,” he said.
According to top Indian intelligence sources, Pakistan is rattled and this kind response to India’s tri-service exercise reflects strategic anxiety. “They have already disturbed their political scenario due to Rawalpindi. The DG ISPR’s statement is just a narrative. Their aim is to ensure domestic consolidation even as they have lost internal control.”
The ISPR is trying to project unity at a time when the TTP has reached their capital and Baloch are attacking them on a daily basis, said sources.
Beginning November 3, the tri-services mega drill, Exercise Trishul, has brought together the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force in a large-scale, multi-domain wargame expanding from the Arabian Sea to the skies above. This is the first exercise of its kind after Operation Sindoor, which will go on till November 13. The large-scale drills simulate integrated warfare, rapid mobilisation, and maritime dominance operations.
The exercise, while routine in nature, has reportedly prompted Pakistan’s heightened state of alert.
Pakistan recently issued a second Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) within five days — a move that intelligence sources describe as a signal of “panic and precaution” triggered by India’s ongoing Tri-Services Exercise Trishul 2025. The latest NOTAM, effective from November 1 to November 30, closes large portions of Pakistan’s airspace, particularly over its southern and coastal regions.

Meanwhile, Pakistan in early October also announced a strict crackdown on Afghan refugees, with the government declaring that all Afghan nationals residing illegally in the country will be deported “as soon as possible”.
The clashes broke out after Pakistan reportedly launched cross-border airstrikes in Kabul on October 9, targeting TTP camps. Pakistan accused the Afghan Taliban of harbouring TTP militants, responsible for killing hundreds of Pakistani soldiers since 2021.
