The 14-year-old was the star of the show for the Royals in their six-wicket victory over the five-time champions. Suryavanshi hit a 33-ball 57 as he hit his second 50+ score in the IPL and shattered the record books once again.

CSK put up a score of 186 on the board with mid-season signings Ayush Mhatre (43 of 20) and Dewald Brevis (42 of 25) finishing as the top scorers. Akash Madhwal was the pick of the bowlers for RR with a three-wicket haul in which he gave away just 29 runs.
