Team Urvashi Rautela has issued a strongly worded statement regarding the alleged unauthorized use of actress Urvashi Rautela’s name, images and videos by a Los Angeles-based artificial intelligence company.
According to Team Urvashi Rautela, the company’s business has allegedly generated billions of dollars in value through the use of Urvashi’s name, photographs and video content without obtaining the necessary authorization or permission. The team has stated that it is pursuing appropriate legal remedies, with damages currently being assessed at ₹7,000 crore.
In a firm statement, the actress’s team emphasized that the development of artificial intelligence and the creation of a successful business do not provide permission to commercially exploit an individual’s identity or likeness.
“We are pursuing appropriate legal remedies, including damages currently being assessed at ₹7,000 crore against the Los Angeles-based company. Their business has allegedly generated billions of dollars in value by using Urvashi’s name, images & videos without authorization.”
The team further issued a direct message to the company, making its position clear:
“Build your AI (Artificial Intelligence) company. Build your brand. But keep Urvashi’s name out of your fucking business unless you have permission.”
