The day also marks his 53rd birthday and the traditional Trayodashi observance commemorating the birth of the Saryu River, both of which will be acknowledged through coordinated events across the city. District authorities have mobilized heavy security arrangements in anticipation of high footfall, with visitors expected from across the country and abroad.
Development projects valued at over Rs 32,000 crore have reshaped the city’s urban and religious infrastructure in recent years. These include improved transport connectivity and upgraded public amenities, which now serve the tourism and pilgrimage circuits alike.
Organizers state that the Pran Pratishtha ceremony will commence at 11 a.m. Multiple temple complexes and riverfront ghats, including Ram Ki Paidi and Aarti Ghat, will also host spiritual and cultural programs. The Saryu Jayanti celebrations will run in parallel, with contributions from several social and religious organizations.
Religious leaders and civic associations have highlighted Ayodhya’s changing profile. While some credited political figures for their roles, others focused on how increased infrastructure has generated economic activity.
The CM will also participate in an event marking the anniversary of the Ayodhya Municipal Corporation’s current term. Despite the confluence of events, state officials have maintained that security, crowd management, and logistical arrangements are in place for an orderly observance.
