The investigation has also focused on a payment of Rs 25,000 allegedly transferred by accused Amar Mundeliya for purchasing the motorcycle used in the October 18 firing.

The Mumbai Crime Branch investigation into the firing at actor Tiger Shroff’s car has uncovered an alleged network of 25-30 bank accounts and multiple digital payment channels used by wanted accused Anil Pandit to conceal the financial trail, with investigators now examining how money was routed to procure the motorcycle used in the attack.
According to Mumbai Police, the alleged financial network involved several accounts and digital payment platforms, making it difficult to establish the original source of funds and identify their final recipients. Investigators are examining the transactions to establish how the operation was financed and whether other people were involved in moving money for the attack.
The investigation has also focused on a payment of Rs 25,000 allegedly transferred by accused Amar Mundeliya for purchasing the motorcycle used in the October 18 firing. Mundeliya was arrested in Haryana’s Sonipat district and remanded to Mumbai Police Crime Branch custody until November 6.
Police told the court that Mundeliya had transferred money from his bank account to other accused. His custody was sought to trace the source of the funds and examine the digital applications allegedly used to facilitate the transactions, PTI reported.
Who Is Anil Pandit?
Anil Pandit is an alleged operative of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and the prime accused in the firing case. He remains absconding and is believed to be operating from outside India, according to reports citing investigators.
Police suspect that Pandit coordinated the operation through a network of associates, with different individuals allegedly assigned responsibilities ranging from arranging firearms and vehicles to facilitating logistics and payments.
