The Undertaker, Sting and Triple H were among the wrestling legends who paid tribute to Hulk Hogan after his death on Thursday (July 24). The two-time WWE Hall of Famer was the most famous wrestler of his time.

Wrestling legend Hulk Hogan died aged 71. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer reportedly died due to a cardiac arrest in his Florida mansion on Thursday (July 24). The biggest wrestling name in the 1980s and 1990s, Hogan was a mainstay in WWE and WCW. He was the key figure in both companies’ success. Hogan enjoyed a legendary run as a babyface in WWE while his heel turn in WCW seemingly saved his career. He returned to WWE after it acquired WCW.
Social media is flooded with wishes for Hulk, who had a career spanning 35 years. The Undertaker, one of Hogan’s on-screen rivals, led tributes to the legend. “The wrestling world has lost a true legend. His contributions to our business are immeasurable and for that I am appreciative. Thank you, Hulk Hogan,” The Undertaker wrote on X. The Deadman defeated Hogan at Survivor Series 1991 to win his first world championship in WWE.

Kurt Angle credited Hogan for opening the door in the business for him and many other people. “R.I.P Hulkster, thank you for opening up doors for so many people in the business including myself. There would not be a Kurt Angle, without the American Made, Hulk Hogan. My heart and prayers go out to his family. We lost a real icon today,” wrote the Olympic gold medalist.
