Radhika had appeared in a romantic music video in 2024 alongside an independent artist, Inam.

Former state-level tennis player Radhika Yadav was cremated after father allegedly shot her dead at point blank range, bringing the curtains down on a life cut short cruelly and leaving behind questions aplenty. Amid the ongoing probe into the killing of Radhika Yadav, a music video of Radhika had surfaced. Now a colleague from her music video, Inam-ul-Haq said that her father liked the song, adding that she wanted to work in the “film line.”
Radhika had appeared in a romantic music video in 2024 alongside an independent artist, Inam. The video-in-question – Karwaan – was released last year and was produced by Zeeshan Ahmad and released under the LLF Records Label.
Inam said that Radhika had come to the set for shooting with her mother.Inam-ul-Haq, a person who was also a part of the music video in which Radhika worked as an actor, said, “…She (Radhika) came to the shooting (of the music video) with her mother. On the set, she also mentioned that her father liked the song, which means she took permission from her father also…”
He claimed that she wanted to work more often in such videos. “When we met her for the first time, she told us that she wants to work in this line (film line)…She desired to work in this line.”
He said that the two were in contact in during the release of the song, adding that Radhika “deactivated and reactivated her Instagram account around 2-3 times…”
On the question of deleting the song, Inam said, “When the song did not get the expected popularity, I thought my song got wasted and I decided to delete it…I anticipated re-releasing it with another face. I was cast in the music video at the last moment as an actor, but I did not like my look. However, I am not deleting the video for now.”
Radhika’s father, Deepak Yadav, has confessed to killing her and told police he was taunted and mocked for living off her income from a tennis academy. He was produced in court on Friday and remanded to one-day police custody.
The police said that the tennis academy Radhika ran was the bone of contention between the father and the daughter.
