Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday welcomed US President Donald Trump’s comprehensive plan to end the Gaza war and said that it is a “viable pathway to long-term and sustainable peace, security and development for the Palestinian and Israeli people”. PM Modi further extended support to Trump’s effort to end the conflict and secure peace.
Taking to X, PM Modi wrote, “We welcome President Donald J. Trump’s announcement of a comprehensive plan to end the Gaza conflict. It provides a viable pathway to long term and sustainable peace, security and development for the Palestinian and Israeli people, as also for the larger West Asian region. We hope that all concerned will come together behind President Trump’s initiative and support this effort to end conflict and secure peace.”

Trump Announces Gaza Peace Deal
In a major breakthrough, US President Donald Trump on Monday announced that “Israel won’t occupy Gaza”, adding that he was “close” to clinching an agreement that could end the war in Gaza between Israel and Hamas.
The US President also extended his “full backing” to Israel, if Hamas rejects the deal, saying that the “tyranny of terror has to end”.
