Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Malaysia on February 7–8, 2026, to hold bilateral talks, engage the Indian diaspora, and review the India-Malaysia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay an official visit to Malaysia from February 7 to 8, 2026, at the invitation of Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, the government said.
The visit will be Modi’s third to Malaysia and his first since the two countries elevated their bilateral ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in August 2024.
During the visit, Modi and Anwar Ibrahim are scheduled to hold bilateral discussions covering the full spectrum of India-Malaysia relations. The Prime Minister will also interact with members of the Indian community in Malaysia, as well as representatives from industry and business. The 10th India-Malaysia CEO Forum is set to take place alongside the visit.
India and Malaysia share long-standing ties rooted in historical, civilisational and cultural links. The relationship is further reinforced by the presence of a 2.9 million-strong Indian diaspora in Malaysia, the third-largest Indian community overseas.
